Smoke of Mother Earth Ronald Red Elk and Friends Visiting the Indian Memorial
by: Dennis Belindo
In June of 1998, the Hutchinson County Museum hosted a tour of the Comanche
Language and Heritage Society. The group visited the site of the 1874 Battle of
Adobe Walls to honor their ancestors that participated in the battle. The museum
welcomes many Native American groups to the area with tours, information, and
exhibits.
